Bishnupur Police Station personnel, along with members of 'Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights', carried a raid at a watch company at Diamond Harbour Road, South 24 Parganas and seized fake Sonata wrist-watches from the shop.
Cops during the raid seized the watches and arrested the accused person from the shop. The accused was arrested under section 63 & 65 of Copyright Act, 1957 and under section 420 of Indian Penal Code.
