On 31st October, Martyrdom Anniversary of Late Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi, Former Prime Minister of India was observed at the statue of Indira-ji situated at Indira Uddyan, opposite Birla Planetarium, Kolkata. Prof. Pradip Bhattacharya, MP paid his homage to the departed soul by floral tribute along with senior leaders from PCC & INTUC. Smt. Chandra Rekha Pandey, ex-Councillor & Executive Member of All India Unorganised Workers Congress, Shri Santosh Pathak, Councillor KMC & Convenor-Manifesto Committee - WBPCC, Shri Dipak Singh, Additional President - Congress Sevadal also paid their homage to the departed soul.
Sri Ajitesh Pandey, General Secretary - West Bengal Pradesh Youth Congress and President of the Foundation presided over the function and paid his homage by floral tribute.
Songs on national integration were performed to remember lndira-ji during the program.
