'Hello Kolkata's AV Album on Poem by Dr. Sujata Chatterjee
'Hello Kolkata's 10th Audio-Video album is under production. It is based on a poem- 'The Forgotten Cottage' by eminent poet Dr. Sujata Chatterjee. Conceptualised and directed by Asish Basak, the album will depict scenes of a cottage which once had lots of people coming, parties happening, fun, laughter and enjoyment. But slowly the cottage became deserted and it is forlorn now.
On 16th Nov. eve, the indoor shooting for this AV album took place at New Alipore in the beautifully decorated residence of Dr. Sujata Chatterjee, the poet. The party scene saw a few of her dear friends joining in the shoot, recorded by the talented photographer Debayan Roy.

Synopsis:- In a morning, a priest during his daily routine of temple rituals, finds an envelope mentioned nothing except "MAA" written over it. He opens the envelope only to find a letter of a girl child who is a victim of "child-discrimination" and is under going "in-house domestic child labor".

Synopsis of 'LEFT OVERS':- A house maid, on the way to her daily work, saw some hungry beggars. She went past them and did her daily routine including cooking the breakfast in the house where she used to work. She very curiously observed the members having their breakfast and when they left she collected their "left overs" and distributed the same amongst the beggars.
'VOTE GEETI' by 'Hello Kolkata' - an AV Album that reflects VOTE is an inseparable part of our civic society
'Hello Kolkata' (3D News, Films and Events) will soon release 'VOTE GEETI' - an audio-video album of 3 songs to commemorate VOTE 2019 (Loksabha Elections).
The AV album has lyrics by Ratan Guha, music by Biswajit Das and songs by Ms. Swasti Chatterjee, Dr. Asok Ray, Sukanya Roy and Biswajit Das.
The concept and direction is by Asish Basak, who has already made several albums, short films and has also directed & produced 2 feature films - 'M-FACTOR' (U/A) and 'Sesh Theke Abar Shuru' (U).
The Audio Recording of 'VOTE GEETI took place on 18th April at Studio Resonance, Kankurgachi.
The video will be shot soon in various parts of Kolkata, involving people of all ages. Special scenes will be shot with '1st time Voters' (Male & Female @18-22 years) and also very Senior Citizens.
The songs are completely NON-Political and unbiased. The lyrics and supporting scenes will reflect the fact that VOTE is a VERY VERY SIGNIFICANT EVENT which is an inseparable and undeniable part and parcel of our civic society and that it affects all corners of society, remarked the Ideator Asish Basak.
'VOTE GEETI' is a non-commercial socio-cultural welfare project of 'Hello Kolkata' (a registered News-Media and Film Production house), executed by 'The Phoenix' (Consultancy) and affiliated with a registered NGO - 'Vibrations of Joy - Chalar Ananda' (S/1L/35879).
