Bengal Optometric Conference (BOC) was held on 23rd and 24th February 2019 at Rabindratirtha, Newtown. It was jointly organized by EIOA & GOA. Joint Secretaries were Kalidas Dey & Sanjoy Das.
On 23rd February, at BOC 2019, 'Pragati Bangla' presented 'Banglar Mukh' & 'Bengal Ethnic Fashion Fiesta 2K19', the largest Ethnic Designer Fashion Show of Eastern India, along with felicitations "Banglar Mukh Sanmanana" to famous Bengal faces of various fields. The Organiser & Show Director was Prof. Dr. Arijit Kumar Neogy, Founder-Director of "Pragati Bangla". The main aim of the programme was to salute the rich heritage and culture of Biswa Bangla & also to highlight great Bengali achievers.
A host of celebrities had graced the stage in dazzling attires like Pt. Mallar Ghosh, Arijit Dutta, Prof. Sujoy Biswas, Dr. Anjali Sengupta, Suparna Mukherjee, Sangeeta Sinha, Soumitra Roy, Dibyendu Barua, Moubani Sorcar, Mimi Das, Pratyush Ghosh, Tanusri Sengupta, Sneha Chakraborty, Debopam Sarkar, Soumen Ghosh, John Sengupta, Pritwiraj Sen, Jeeja Ghosh, Rj Den Soyomdev Chattopadhyay, Prabir Sarkar & others.
The show choreography was done by Archit Ray. The participated designers were Sanjiv Pal, Debshila creations, Debjit Pal & Supriyo Mondal, Riya Ghosh, Sonali, Tapas Das, Mrinal & Deborshi.
Some of the showstoppers were Arijit Dutta, Rajiv Sharma, Argha Bhattacharya, Sri Jee, Tanusri Sengupta, Oindrilla De Sarkar, Soumi Das, Archit Ray, Biswajit & others. "Banglar Mukh "was a grand success with viewers more than 500. -Hello Kolkata Network
