On the auspicious occasion of Ombubachi, Ward No 33 of Howrah Municipal Corporation, Shibpur, under the leadership of Pinaki Banerjee and Priyam Banerjee, distributed fruit baskets among the women who actually perform the Hindu rituals of Ombubachi on 23rd June.

The lockdown has been going on in India for about 90 days but Rajshekhar Banik of Srirampur did not stop his creative work even during this harsh pandemic situation.
He has been making one after another video albums and now his current presentation is "Prano Bhoriye" - a Rabindra Sangeet album. This album is produced by 'Yuvraj Films'.

কলকাতার ২৯ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডে খুলছে প্রথম শাখা। সেখানে এলাকার দরিদ্র অসহায় পরিবারের শিক্ষার্থীদের সারা বছর বিনামূল্যে শিক্ষাদান করবেন সংস্থার সদস্যরা।
এরপর তা চালু হবে গোটা কলকাতা জুড়ে। নিরক্ষরতা দূরীকরণ এ সমাজের একশ্রেণীর অবহেলিত মানুষের জীবনে আশার আলো জ্বালিয়ে তোলাই অন্যতম উদ্দেশ্য।

প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ আম্ফানের ফলে সমুদ্র ও নদী উপকূলবর্তী অঞ্চলের গ্রামীণ মানুষ এবং পাশাপাশি মফস্বল ও শহরতলিরও বহু মানুষ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছিলেন। সেই দূর্যোগের সম্মুখীন মানুষের কথা মনে করে হাওড়ার একটি স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংস্থা শিবপুর সৃষ্টি এগিয়ে আসে। সারাবছর ধরে নানা ধরনের সেবামূলক ও সামাজিক কাজে করে চলেছে তারা। আর তাই ঠিক আম্ফানের ফলে ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ মানুষের পাশে এবারও ঝাঁপিয়ে পরেছে শিবপুর সৃষ্টির সকল সদস্যরা।
২৫ শে মে শিবপুর সৃষ্টি, প্রাথমিক সাহায্য পর্বে হাওড়া ডুমুরজলা স্টেডিয়ামের পার্শ্ববর্তী বস্তি সংলগ্ন এলাকার প্রায় ৬০ টি পরিবারের হাতে ৪ দিনের রেশন সামগ্রী তুলে দিয়েছে।
কলকাতা ফেস্টিভালের সাথে যৌথ উদ্যোগে ৩ রা জুন ৬০০০ লিটার জল,মুড়ি,ছাতু,ওআরএস সহ শুকনো খাদ্য পৌঁছে দিয়েছে হিঙ্গলগঞ্জের সাহেবখালী এবং মিনাখাঁ অঞ্চলের প্রায় ৩০০ পরিবারের হাতে। এই পর্যায়ে কাজে সেপিয়েন্স ওয়েলফেয়ার, অন্তর্ধ্বনির মত স্বেচ্ছেসেবী সংগঠনরাও তাদের সাথে সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছিল।
পরবর্তী সময়ে কলকাতা ফেস্টিভ্যালের সহযোগিতায় ৭ই জুন “জলই জীবন”- এই প্রকল্প কে মাথায় রেখে আবারও ৩০০০ লিটার জল ,ত্রিপল,শুকনো খাদ্য সামগ্রী নিয়ে আবারও তারা রওনা দেয় মথুরাপুর এর রায়দিঘীর উদ্দেশ্যে।সেখানের প্রায় ১৫০ টি পরিবারের হাতে তারা এই সামগ্রী তুলে দেয়।
১৩ই জুন শিবপুর সৃষ্টি রওনা হয় খেজুরির রসুলপুর এর উদ্দেশ্যে, যেখানে প্রায় ১৫০ স্থানীয় মানুষের হাতে কিছু ত্রাণ সামগ্রী তুলে দিয়ে আসে।
এইভাবেই বিপদগ্রস্ত মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে তারা আশার আলো দেখিয়েছে ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ মানুষদের এবং এক আলাদা নজির স্থাপন করছে।
শিবপুর সৃষ্টির প্রধান কর্মকর্তা ও সমস্ত সদস্যদের দাবি তারা মানুষের সেবায় নিজেদের উৎসর্গ করেছে এই অঙ্গীকার নিয়ে এবং ভবিষ্যতেও এরকম আরো অনেক সেবামূলক কাজ তারা করে যেতে চায় সকলের ভালোবাসা নিয়ে।

To help the needy and poor people who are seriously affected by Covid-19 induced lockdown and ravaged by cyclone 'Amphan', Dewanpara Sarbojonin Shyama Puja Samity has organized a social welfare camp on 21 June.
Led by Arindam Ganguly, Secretary of Dewanpara Sarbojonin Shyama Puja Samity, other members lent support to distribution of food items and essentials amongst poor people.
