The initiatives are:-
· Personal protective equipment for medical personnel, and caretakers of the patient
· Distribution of surgical masks, sanitizers,
necessary equipment, and food packets
· Installation of sanitizer showers in different cities
· Knowledge transfer for general public
· Helped
13700 migrants reach government designated depos
· Helped
8900 migrants reunite with families
· Distribution
of food, medicine and water to migrants. (Food- 14000, Medicine- 3400,
Water- 19000, and counting)
· In
talks with government and industry for employment of dispersed labours.
All the above initiatives are being funded and managed by Urja
Foundation. The foundation respects and thanks its Trustees, Members,
Volunteers, Interns, Police Department, Local clubs, State Government, Central
Government for their support,courage and bravery. Foundation further thanks every organization
and individual who is doing their best by staying at home, working in
hospitals,on the streets, and others who are risking their lives and safety to help fight this
