Synopsis: The film portrays two children of similar age – a rich boy who has abundance of everything in life vis-a-vis a poor girl who can’t even afford a colour pastel to paint a rose. All she has is a broken black pastel trashed by the boy. Both of them try to paint a bouquet of red & yellow roses. Though the boy has a surplus of colours, his rose lacks the artistic touch which the girl’s one has but due to lack of colours, her painting looks very stale. Finding all her roses black, the boy starts chuckling. Soon when he realizes the sad fact through a dramatic sequence of events, he decides to fill the black roses with his expensive set of colour pastels creating the perfect picture - That brings an immediate smile on both their faces. The film ends with a message ‘the joy of sharing’.
