Javeria Fatma (20) of Narkeldanga, Kolkata was honoured with 1st Degree Black Belt by Prof. M.A. Ali at Indian Karate Association (Taltala Branch).
Ayesha Noor, Coach of Javeria Fatma said, "We taught Karate to Javeria totally free of charges at Ladies Park (Raja Bazar Ward 28)."
Ayesha also informed that recently her team won World Meet 2019 held at Thailand and they have qualified for various international events to be held in Thailand, Dubai, Malaysia, UK and USA.
"Last time for participation we had to beg from door to door," laments their Chief Mentor Prof. M.A.Ali. He said, "Govt must sponsor this Girls' Team who have come up the ranks from slums of Kolkata and are doing so well and winning several international Championships. Under the leadership of Ayesha Noor, the 6 members girls' team will take part in Thai Martial Art Camp, to be held in Bangkok on 7th December, 2019."
