Sri P. C. Sharma, Member, Materials Management, Railway Board held a Scrap Sales Review Meeting with General Manager, South Eastern Railway, Sri Sanjay Kumar Mohanty and the Principal Chief Materials Managers of Six Zonal Railways at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach on 18 Nov. to critically review the progress of Scrap Disposal.
The above meeting was attended by Principal Chief Materials Manager of South Eastern, Eastern, East Coast, North East Frontier, Southern, and South Central Railways along with other officers of Railway Board.
Sri P. C. Sharma, Member, Materials Management, Railway Board laid emphasis on Control of Expenditure and at the same time maximization of Scrap Sales so that every Zonal Railway can surpass the targets fixed by Railway Board.
Member, Manager Management also inaugurated a Medical App “AAPURTI”. This Medical App will provide complete information about availability of medicines in different Railway Hospitals to Doctors and its users on Real Time basis.
