Advocate Mita Banerjee urges for immediate action on Proper Disposal of 'Corpse'

Mita Banerjee, eminent Advocate, Calcutta High Court has voiced her concern over horrible, inhuman and disrespectful chaos of disposal of unclaimed 'Corpse' or dead bodies at various places in Kolkata & suburbs & also outside WB.
She has urged the State & Central Govt., Health Ministry, Police, Judiciary, and all concerned authorities to look into this matter on an urgent basis.    She is particularly peeved and traumatized due to the horrific dragging of corpses by means of hooking iron rod at one of the crematoriums of Kolkata which shows how humanity is erroding and we are slipping towards the hollows of inhumanity.
Stressing on the point of such moral degradation of our society, she said that any one can now feel insecure and that their relative or relation will be falling prey to such nuisance.
Mita Banerjee has declared that she will take legal steps if immediate remedial action is not taken and all  Corpses or Dead bodies must be given the courtesy of proper disposal, even during the pandemic.
Mita Banerjee states that despite our country’s stringent laws which give the Right to Ritual of a Dead Person, how can corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, public servants etc. rob our fundamental rights in every sphere of life and now in death.
