Literoma had recently arranged a special talk show on the theme- ‘Women & Justice’ at a hotel in Esplanade. Md. Jahangir Khan, ex-ACP of Kolkata Police was Chief Guest.
The event was anchored by city based writer-turned-filmmaker Reetwika Banerjee. Her recent short film T.G. marked its official release on the same day followed by a panel discussion on womanhood presenting speakers from media, law and social activism fields.
The event concluded with a keynote speech by Kapil Raj, author of ‘Endurer: A Rape Story’. The Delhi based writer is in a book talk tour across India to spread the message #Sheisnotavictim #Sheisanendurer.
