Rotary International District 3291 observed World Polio Day on 23rd & 24th Oct. with a big rally and awareness seminar with 50 motorcycles, 20 cars with big flex and signages from Kolkata to Kakdwip covering 100+ kilometres with around 100 Rotarians and more than 500 Rotary Community Corps members. It was flagged off from Rotary Sadan and had a night halt at Diamond Harbour. All the campaigners braved the heavy downpour. Special message from Rotary International President Nominee Shekhar Mehta was received and read out. The program was participated and organised by eminent Rotarians, like Rotary International District Governor 3291 Ajay Agarwal, immediate Past District Governor Mukul Sinha (who is also District Polio Plus Chair), Past District Governors Angshuman Bandopadhyay & Rajkumar Rajgaria, Rotary Community Corps Chair Jyotish Chandra Roy, District Additional Secretary Projects Anand Kumar Sharma & Rotary Community Core members Babusona & his team with full support of the area BDO and the local administration teams.
