National Artificial Intelligence Resource Portal
IIT Kharagpur collaborate with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com company, to develop a National Artificial Intelligence Resource Portal (NAIRP) platform powered by Amazon Sage Maker to promote learning and development in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for all AI learners, practitioners, and researchers in India, and to make the search for AI learning resources simpler and more accessible.
IIT Kharagpur will use AWS Promotional Credits and Amazon Sage Maker services to facilitate AI learning. NAIRP will provide access to compute facilities to users for AI learning and experimentation. Novice machine learning practitioners will be able to quickly search and get access to myriads of learning resources, and prototype the learned concepts into hands-on running modules.
The National Artificial Intelligence Resource Portal will provide search, browse, learning and computation services.

ALLAHABAD BANK INTRODUCES REPO RATE LINKED PRODUCTS
Allahabad Bank, one of the premier nationalized Banks decided to offer selected new loans at rate of interest linked to Repurchase Rate (Repo) w.e.f. 01.09.2019 in order to ensure faster transmission of policy rate changes and further to offer loans at a cheaper rate to the customers. The new loans to which Repo Linked Lending Rate (RLLR) is applicable are : 1) Housing loans upto Rs. 75 lakh 2) Mudra loans under Sishu, Kishore & Tarun Customers will continue to have choice either to opt for MCLR linked rate of interest or Repo Linked Lending Rate (RLLR), at mutually acceptable terms. All Savings Bank deposits (Rs. 40 lacs & above) are henceforth linked to repo w.e.f 01.10.2019.

ARYAN INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’s FILM FESTIVAL witnessed screening of great films. In this three days festival, organized by JAIPUR INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, 47 films from 19 countries are screened.
Here, students of 25 schools enjoyed taking the experience to watch the films. Kids with special abilities also entertained themselves by watching the films.
JIFF founder Hanu Roj asserted that the festival got such wonderful response from little audiences that now it’s going to be bigger. Next year, a place would be developed as hub of cinema, where various activities like film workshops, talks and dialogues would go on.
Saquib Hussain leads Milky Moo Tolly Challenge 2019
Local lad Saquib Hussain shot a six over 76 to take the halfway lead at the Milky Moo Tolly Challenge being played at the Tollygunge Club.
Tied in second place is the duo of Rakshik Basu and Joysurjo Dey who finished with 79s. Garv Lakhmani is fourth a further three strokes behind with Guhrmehr Bindra fifth with 83.
Saquib also leads the Category B event.
Category C is led by Aditya Khaitan who shot an 83 for a five stroke lead over the trio of Armaan Tekriwal, Sompriti Das and Ahaan Gupta.
Category D is led by Prashant Agrawal who takes an eight stroke lead into the final round after carding 79. Vivaan Bhandari is placed second followed by Vivaan Chhawchharia in third a further seven strokes behind at 94.
Varish Mohta leads Category E with a well compiled 38. Hredaan Raj Bihani is placed second at 42 followed by Krishiv Rungta a further three strokes behind.
Amongst the Girls, Karishma Samadder leads Category B and Kashissh Khanna Category C.

Seminar on Challenges in Healthcare
Association of Healthcare Providers, India(AHPI) had organized a seminar at ITC Sonar, on the challenges arising out of Quality / Accreditation, Regulatory Compliance and Cost Competitiveness in healthcare. The need for such seminar was felt in view of the launch of “AYUSHMAN BHARAT” National Health Protection Scheme which has put the focus on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in the country.
