Association of Healthcare Providers, India(AHPI) had organized a seminar at ITC Sonar, on the challenges arising out of Quality / Accreditation, Regulatory Compliance and Cost Competitiveness in healthcare. The need for such seminar was felt in view of the launch of “AYUSHMAN BHARAT” National Health Protection Scheme which has put the focus on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in the country.
On this occasion Dr Girdhar Gyani, Director General, AHPI & founder NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) had this to say, ”AHPI has been working closely with the Government on the issues which are coming in the way to implement universal health coverage and has come up with a unique action plan for hospitals and nursing homes, which was shared during the seminar. The action plan is unique since it provides step by step approach to implement quality, comply with regulations and dwells on managing cost competitiveness in the healthcare sector of the country.”
