'Hello Kolkata Short-Scope' was held with great zeal on 2nd August eve at Birla Planetarium Hall. 'Hello Kolkata's 13th Short Films Fiesta concluded with the screening of 'One last Time', directed by Jayashree Khara, produced by Boby Mondal (Innomania Motion Pictures). On repeated pubic demand, there was 2nd screening of 'Kalchokro' - a short film on 'Pre-Destination Paradox', presented by the hit duo of Jayashree & Boby of 'Innomania Motion Pictures'.
The film screening supplemented a splendid fusion program of songs, recitation and felicitation of achievers for socio-cultural welfare.
The Chief Guest was Ms. Jharna Sarkar from Bangladesh (President - Apu Siksha o Paribesh Unnayan Foundation, Bangaldeshi NGO). The Guest of Honour was Mohammad Enamul Haque (eminent socio-cultural motivator and winner of 'Hello Kolkata Excleence Award - Indo-Bangladeshi Maitri Sammanana'.
Special guests for the eve included beauty queens Karuna Chandirani, Teena Gaur & Joyii Sen, dancer Sampurna Saha, poet Dr. Sujata Chatterjee, vocal artists Parimal Malakar, Jia Saha, Nirjhor, Sikha Roy, Narayan Majumdar, Pranati Saha and Lopamudra Sarkar, tabla experts Dibyendu Pal & Syamantak Misra, social workers Farooque Malik and Md. Ehteshamul Haq.
Annie Jain (Brand Ambassador of 'Hello Kolkata') and eminent singer Sumita Bhattacharya were the notable absentees in the glitz and glam-filled eve.
Progarm anchors were Chirasree Mukherjee and Priyanka Roy, photography by Prabin Agarwal, coordination by Rinki Shaw and Sukanya Roy.
The honourable dignitaries announced the launch of 'Hello Kolkata Style Icon' (10 rounds of Talent Hunt contest for all ages, including the differently-abled), to be executed in association with Annie Jain (Annie's Creation).
Asish Basak, 'Editor-Director, 'Hello Kolkata' remarked that such meet as the 2nd Aug eve was an apt platform for socio-cultural interlinking and cross-promotion of various ideas, services and businesses.
