'Kavi Guru Samman 2019' will be presented to eminent Dance Choreographer Indrani Ganguly during a gala ceremony of 'Angela Event' at Birla Planetarium Hall on 9th May.
Indrani Ganguly is the Founder of Sristi Dance Academy, a reputed cultural training centre that has been running successfully since the last 15 years. She is also a much-respected teacher of a reputed school.
Indrani Ganguly also helps economically challenged and talented students She is very much involved in socio-cultural welfare work with various organizations, including NGOs like Prayas in Garia, Disha in Barrackpur, Anandamoye Mental & Special School in Birati, Saptadipa Briddhashrom in Salt Lake, etc.
Each year Indrani conducts various types.of. socio cultural events in different parts of Kolkata with her SDA students and also with others.
Indrani Ganguly has been felicitated by various organizations in city and state level for her wonderful talent and continued brilliance.
