Narayana Super Speciality Hospital, Howrah officially announced the launch of their ‘Laryngectomy Club' for the Laryngectomy cancer patients.
This is inspired by the recently released movie ‘Konttho' of film-makers Shiboprasad Mukhapadhya and Nandita Roy, informed surgeons of NSH – Dr. Sourav Datta, Dr. Harsh Dhar and Dr. Apurva Garg.
The Laryngectomy club which was launched was a novel initiative of the Narayana Super Speciality Hospital, Howrah. The primary aim of forming the club is to provide patient with a platform for social engagement and rehabilitation, the main focus being post Laryngectomy speech. One of the main motives of the club is to provide subsidy in treatment to the under-privileged cancer Survivors.
