Unseeded Abhinansu Borthakur thrashed 2nd seeded Aditya Vardhan Roy Chowdhury in the Men's Open Singles final to lift the title at the just concluded Calcutta Hard Court Tennis Championship 2019, held at both the red clay and synthetic courts of the Calcutta South Club Ltd.
Borthakur was ruthless in winning the Men's Open Singles title as he whitewashed Aditya Vardhan Roy Chowdhury by a humiliating 6-0,6-1.
In the Ladies Open Singles final, top seeded Shatavisa Ghosh lived up to the expectations as she breezed past unseeded Shireen Ahamed by a comfortable 6-2,6-3 victory.
