CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI), known for Swaraj & Sonalika tractors is the National Level R&D Institute in the field of Mechanical Engineering and allied disciplines under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Advanced Manufacturing Center(AdMaC) of CSIR-CMERI is actively engaged in providing manufacturing technology solutions to engineering Industries across the country.
A Seminar on Advance Manufacturing was jointly organized by the CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI),Durgapur and EEPC India Technology Centre on 13th September’2019 at Kolkata. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Harish Hirani, Director, CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur, Shri Ravi Sehgal, Chairman.
Prof. Harish Hirani remarked that manufacturing industry is back bone of major economics around the world and it can be the major source of job creation in the countries like ours.
Shri Ravi Sehgal, Chairman,EEPC said that the EEPC India as the implementing agency of Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, EEPC India has opened in house Technology Centres at Bangaluru and now in Kolkata.
