Religion must NOT be Politicised:- Md. Ehteshamul Haque Siddiqui

The General Secretary of All India Trinamool Congress Minority Cell, Md. Ehteshamul Haque Siddiqui had expressed surprise and indignation over the PIL on 'Azaan' in Calcutta High Court done by BJP MP Arjun Singh.
Ehteshamul-ji said that BJP MP Arjun Singh has trouble with 'Azaan' as he is afraid that the devotional strains of 'Azaan' may induce the young generation to become Muslims.
Expressing displeasure over Arjun Singh's comments and actions, Haque-ji urged everyone, including Ministers and Politicians to maintain unity, integrity and brotherhood. He said that the sound of the bell in the Temple, 'Azaan' in the Mosque, 'Gurvani' in the Gurudwara, the Sermon in the Church, etc. are the specialties of Indian heritage and no one dispute that.
He alleged that a few leaders try to do divide the masses in the guise of religion and politics for their own vested interests and benefits.  Due to this, the entire society or caste is maligned. The question arises whether the poor people of the country will benefit from such leaders.
"Politics and Religion must not be intertwined as it will always harm the country. Instead of spreading hatred and schism amongst Hindus and Muslims, we must all work together for the greater cause of holistic development of our motherland. We must all attempt to spread brotherhood & love amongst all," remarked Md. Ehteshamul Haque Siddiqui.
