‘Jaggriti Sangha’ had organized a cultural program to celebrate “Poila Baishakh’’ on 15th April at Jaggriti Sangha playground at New Barrackpore. Wonderfully executed by Goutam Biswas (Secretary) and Basudeb Biswas (Cultural Secretary), the festival included dance, recitation, song and a gala prize ceremony. The inaugural performance was a ‘Bhakti Geeti’.
'Sursudha Ballet' troupe presented the dance show choreographed by Ms Sharmila Basu. The program witnessed creative dance form, "Putul nach', classical dance, dance drama, etc. About 56 members took part in 20 mesmerising dances.
Sayani, Shinjini, Debasree, Gargi, Ankita and Pragati were amongst the horde of talented artists who took part in the lovely dance drama.
The Woman Association of Jaggriti Sangha was felicitated by club executives.
'Jaggriti Sangha Cultural Festival' was graced by a host of dignitaries from all walk of the society, including Dibyendu Narayan Biswas (President). Mr. Dipak Ghosh, Partha Sarathi Bose and others.
