Sunfeast Kolkata School Football League champions, St James School lost to Mohun Bagan Athletic Club played a spectacular exhibition match. Sunfeast initiated this match with the intent to give young talent a platform, encourage sports in the region and develop an ecosystem for budding football players to explore their talent and skills to become better players. Also present were a host of dignitaries like Sri Babun Banerjee, Secretary Bengal Hockey Association, Football Secretary of Mohun Bagan Athletic Club and renowned footballers like Sri Monoranjan Bhattacharya, Sri Prasanta Banerjee, Sri Debashish Mukherjee, Sri Hemanta Dora.
Commenting on the exhibition match is Mr Paritosh Wali, Chief Operating Officer, Biscuits & Confections Cluster, Foods Division, ITC Limited said, “This match between Sunfeast KSFL champions and Mohun Bagan U-18 team created a good experience for budding players in the state as it is a platform which would enhance the game and produce quality players which would make the nation proud. Sunfeast has been encouraging young football players to develop their talent for the sport through platforms like Sunfeast Cup."
