Pragati, a Bengali cultural hub in Bhubaneswar, had celebrated the Bengali New year 'Poila Baisakh' with its usual fun & flair on the evening of 14th April at the Press Club, Odisha. The program unfolded with Mr. S.K.Tamotia, the Chief Advisor of the Club along with Mr. Swapan Bose, Dr. S. Malakar & Mr. Sudhansu Marik addressing the august gathering. The beaming high voltage performers like Mrs. Dalia Rez, Dr. S.Malakar, Mr. P.K. Dey, Mrs. Ruma Roy, Mrs. Mita Roy, Mr. Sudhansu Marik, Mr. Jayanta Chakraborty, Mr. Goutam Giri, Mr. Arun Mathan & Mr. Parimal Malakar, from various parts of Bhubaneswar and around, ensured that the entire audience were treated to a super show. The wonderful eve concluded with a delicious cocktail & dinner.
The Club Secretary Mr. Sudhansu Marik informed that the unit is now gearing up to celebrate the upcoming Rabindra Jayanti in a big way at Rabindra Mandap on 9th May.
