Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah commemorates World Health Day

To commemorate World Health Day, Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah organized a specially curated session on 'Women's Health and Healthy Living' at Press Club on 4th April afternoon. The session was followed by an announcement of setting up of sanitary napkin vending machines by Kirti and Rajdeep on behalf of Sprucex Care.
  The event witnessed the presence of Dr. Subhash Mukherjee, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology, NSH Howrah, Dr. Kaustav Basu, Consultant Gynae-Oncology, NSH Howrah, Dr. Sumana Dutta, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology, NSH Howrah along with Mr. Subhasish Bhattacharya, Facility Director, NH Howrah and Mr. Sourabh Kanti Mondal, Centre Head, Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Howrah.
The session highlighted the need for actions to address the growing health issues amongst women due to not using sanitary napkins during their menstrual cycle. Menstrual hygiene is a significant issue for every woman as poor menstrual hygiene upsurges the susceptibility toward reproductive tract infections. Narayana Superspeciality Hospital has taken the responsibility to create awareness about health care issues of women.
