'Hello Kolkata FAIR' is a Fusion of Cultural Programs for all ages and Exhibition-cum-Sale, being held on 29 & 30 June, 10 am - 9 pm, at 'Kolokakuli', Bangur Mukta Mancha.
'Hello Kolkata FAIR' has display-cum-sale of various items produced by self-help groups, house-wives, rural artisans, etc., along with song, dance, recitation, fashion show, auctions for charity, etc. The participating partners include Chocoholics (Priyanka Shaw), Classics and Sohag (Sangita Mondal and Saheli Das), Institute of Innovative Creation (Shelly Dutta and Mandira Chakraborty), Kakoli's Creations (Kakoli Chatterjee), Kanaklata (Pinky Mondal), Literoma (Reetwika Banerjee), Gift Items (Meenakshan), Monalisa Boutique (Monalisa Chatterjee), Sajer Bou (Rimpi Bishi), Sree Guru Boutique (Subhasree Dutta), Seven Yards (Bedashruti) and Sahelee (Dr. Saheli Roychowdhury).
The social welfare partners include Tapsil Jati Adibasi Praktan Sainik Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra, Kolkata Alor Disha (Amit Roychowdhury) and Adya Ma Seva Samity (Narayan Majumder),
The program was well-coordinated by Sukanya and Harsh.
Riddhi Mondal, Sukanya Roy and Suman Sen enthralled the audience with their super dance numbers. Chief Guest Ms. Jharna Sarkar (President - Apu Siksha o Paribesh Unnayan Foundation, Bangladeshi NGO) recited her own poem. Another member of NGO, Nirjhar sang beautifully, Tabla expert Syamantak Mishra spoke a few words of praise for the participants of 'Hello Kolkata Fair'.
The proceeds of the FAIR will be channelised for socio-cultural welfare of needy children, informed Asish Basak, Editor-Director, 'Hello Kolkata'.
