The Global Academy had organised an International Seminar on Science, Culture and Spirituality and an Award presentation ceremony on 23rd June at Birla Academy, Kolkata, under the chairmanship of Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal (Founder of The Global Academy).
Eminent speakers such as Prof. Dr. Myat Sein (from Myanmar), Prof. Subhas Chandra Saha (ex-VC), Dr. Arunjyoti Bhikkhu (Buddhist monk), Bishop Raju (ex-Bishop of Kolkata) and many more renowned personalities spoke on the relation of science and spirituality in respect of values, ethics and cultural heritage in order to keep our lives fit and fine.
Special Awards were also presented to distinguished personalities in the field of Art, Culture, Music, Science, Medicine etc.
A vote of thanks was proposed by Sri Chandan Agarwal.
