Obituary

Ramen Pandey, son of Late Dr. Jagannath pandey, expired at the age of 57 on 29th June at 10:45 am after massive cardiac arrest.  

   For last many years, he has been associated with various trade union association at levels, holding important positions. He was the President of lNTUC, West Bengal State Branch, Secretary of INTUC National Committee, Chairman of State Productivity Council (Trg.& Dev.), Govt. of West Bengal and Member of Trustees in various organisations including Employees Provident Fund organisation & Employees State Insurance Corporation, Govt. of India. He was also the Vice-President of Union Network International (UNl) - Asia & Pacific Regional Organisation Commerce (Singapore) & Titular Member of International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) - Asia Pacific Regional Organisation - Human & Trade Union Rights Committee.
