FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. and the world’s largest express transportation company, has announced that more than 3,200 members of the team across the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa region, have volunteered more than 11,000 hours total since July 2018. These initiatives are part of FedEx Cares, the company’s giving and volunteering platform.
In India, activities included spending time at centers with differently-abled children, helping to build homes with Habitat for Humanity, road safety events with SafeKids India, and planting trees in local communities, to name a few.
“Through FedEx Cares, we are committed to supporting the communities we serve through strategic investment of our people, resources, and networks, creating positive outcomes in the areas where we live and work,” said Jack Muhs, a company official.
