'Indian Disabled Entrepreneurs Forum' was formally launched at Kolkata Press Club on 4th December eve during a glittering ceremony, attended by a galaxy of high-profile individuals, representing all cross-sections of our society. IDEF is a non-profit non-commercial forum that aims to foster a Pan-India community that creates and supports Employment and Entrepreneurship Opportunities for the 'disabled' or differently-abled individuals of our country.
Founder Sumit Agarwal and Co-Founders Devika Majumder and Asish Basak have launched IDEF in the august presence of danseuse Alokananda Ray and Dr. Hemant Keshwal (NIEPID).
IEDF will provide a platform to maintain inclusivity and equality in employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, and remove all barriers that stand in the way of the success of the PwDs, remarked Founder of IDEF, Sumit Agarwal (a disability-affected individual who is now a Management Graduate, an orator and also Founder-Director of 'PR Signal', a reputed PR firm).
Co-Founder of IDEF, Asish Basak (writer & film-maker, Editor-Director of 'Hello Kolkata') urged for all-inclusive growth and holistic development of our society, calling for better scopes for differently-abled persons to utilise their potential.
Co-Founder Devika Majumder (a business visionary & digital marketing expert, spearheading 'Youngpreneurs') ) stressed that the advent of technology can help bridge the divide and overcome the obstacles that come with disabilities.
During IDEF program, Mrs. Rekha Agarwal, mother of Sumit Agarwal (the Founder of IDEF) was felicitated with 'Matri Samman' - 'Hello Kolkata Achievers Award 2019'. She was justifiably recognized for her outstanding courage and patience and is a perfect Role Model for All Mothers, informed Ms. Sangita Sinha, Face of 'Hello Kolkata Ladies Club' and an elite Jury member of the Awards Committee.
