Taxpayers Lounge inaugurated at Kolkata

To create awareness about various services provided by Income Tax Department for Taxpayers and also to educate about ensuring better compliance of Direct Tax laws, a Taxpayers Lounge was inaugurated by Ms Asha Agrawal, Pr. DGIT (Admin and TPS), Central Board of Direct Taxes at India International Mega Trade Fair. The Taxpayer’s Lounge is to educate and create awareness among school-going children and college students who are future taxpayers. Taxpayer Lounges have been set up in the past at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Ahmedabad,Varanasi, Bengaluru and Patna.
