Iconic British premium motorcycle brand Triumph Motorcycles unveiled its ultimate high-performance muscle roadster, the all-new Rocket 3 R in India. Carrying over the might and road presence of Triumph Motorcycles’ legendary roadster Rocket lll, the all-new Rocket 3 R is equipped with the all-new 2,500cc triple engine heralds the genesis of a new motorcycling legend. The Rocket 3 R boasts of an ideal amalgamation of road presence, power, handling, control, technology and sublime comfort, informed Shoeb Farooq, General Manager, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd.
The new Rocket 3 engine brings an amazing step up in peak power with 167 PS @ 6,000 rpm, which is 11% up on its predecessor. With more power from a low 3,500 rpm, and all the way up to a higher red line of 7,000 rpm, the new Rocket 3 delivers a staggering level of performance. The Rocket 3 R features a high first major service interval of 10,000 miles/16,000 km.
