The ‘International Women’s Day’ was observed at Durgapur Steel Plant, to highlight the social, economic and cultural achievements of women employees at Plants.
UN has adopted the theme of ‘International Women’s Day’ for this year is “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights”. In line with this objective, DSP organized several programs to reaffirm the importance of women empowerments in our society. A series of programs like awareness campaigns, mass tree plantation program, various competitions including song, dance, recitation, drawing and quiz were organized among the women employees.
