In a bid to inculcate Sports as a medium of networking and business, RMB (Rotary Means Business) had organized 'RMB Premier League' (2nd edition). It was held on 15th March, 4 - 8 pm, with great fanfare at 2/1, Russel St. roof-top.
It was ROSEC's 'Home Run' as Rotary Club of Calcutta South East produced both winner ('AVENGERS Inc.') and runner-up ('Suskan Wealth Risers'). Two other teams, 'Mahabir Danwar Royals' and 'Kothari Knight Riders' also contested well to make the format a huge success.
Although each Team and each Player was the UN-Disputed WINNER of the super league that was played with the best of competitive yet fair play spirit and camaraderie,
AVENGERS Inc. was the UN-Defeated and Un-Paralleled Champion of RMB Premier League Edition 2. Apart from 8 super players of ROSEC, they also had the great advantage of one of Kolkata's best motivators working over-time for them.
Fun & frolic aside, the biggest cheers was kept for the ONE & Only Kanak Jain, the incomparable Rotarian who keeps both Rotary and RMB flag flying at the highest level.
Special Guests Advocate Mita Banerjee, fashion designer Neha Tulsyan and acclaimed model Pamita Sadhukhan added more colour and glamour to the already multi-hued RMB Cricket Extravaganza.
