3rd year Bhangur Book Fair (23 - 26 Jan.) has approx. 60 book stalls. The theme of this book fair is district 'Purulia'. Held at Bhangur College Ground, the book fair was inaugurated at 2 p.m. yesterday by special guests Pracheta Gupta and Arpita Ghosh, Vice-President of Bhangur-2 Arabul Islam, President of Bhangur-1 Kaiser Ahmed of Trinamool Congress, member of Zila Parishad Nanoor Husain, Bhangur BDO-1 Saugato Patra, BDO- Koshik Maity, SDO Debarati Sarkar, Working President of Book Fair Koushik Sarkar and others.
Book Fair Committee arranged a rally to spread awareness of reading books.
Book plays a very important role in everyone's life, specially in students life. Books are our best friend. There is a importance of book fair in this digital time.
Apart from books, the fair also arranged different competitions, Baul song, talk shows, dance, drama, etc.
