Lake Gardens Falguni Sangha, a renowned social organization, celebrated their 31st Year of Saraswati Puja at Bangur Park Ground situated within the locality. The Inauguration of the Puja was done by children undergoing Cancer Treatment. Present during the occasion were Hon'ble MLA Shri Paresh Dutta, Hon'ble Mayor In Council (Roads), Kolkata Corporation, Shri Ratan De, Shri Sujoy Biswas of Rammohan Mission School amongst other eminent personalities.
Shri Arup Dutta, Working President onformed that blankets and exercise books were distributed to needy persons, with the support of Rotary Club of Calcutta Merlin, Rotary Club of Calcutta Renaissance, Rotary Club of Park Point.
The Puja Festivity also witnessed multi cultural activities as well, Shri Dutta added.
