Ruby General Hospital, the first NRI hospital of Eastern India started its journey on 25th April, 1995.
Dr.Kamal K Dutta, Chairman and Managing Director, a renowned Gynaecologist based in USAthe United States of America, while commemorating the silver jubilee year in April 2019, announced a monthly scholarship programme called 'Dipti' for 20 meritorious and underprivileged students based in the state of West Bengal. This scholarship program will continue this year too.
In view of the present challenging circumstances, Dr. Dutta, has cancelled the much awaited Silver Jubilee Foundation Day Celebrations of Ruby General Hospital due on 25th April, 2020. Alternately, he has announced that the allotted budget for the celebration will be donated to the West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund. Additionally, the Management and staff of Ruby General Hospital has also promised to stand by the Government of West Bengal by donating a portion of their salary to West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund.
In addition to the above, Ruby General Hospital has introduced a virtual clinic (Video Consultation), wherein, consultants of various clinical specialties will give their expert advice to the patients while they remain in the comfort of their home.
