The Coaching Depot of Malda Division has converted 30 non-AC type coaches into Isolation Coaches. These converted isolation coaches will be used as Isolation Wards for quarantine patients infected with COVID-19 virus. The coaches may be stabled at nominated stations with or without coach watering facility. Coaching Depot of Malda Division has developed suitable watering system for isolation coaches which can be used for topping of coaches placed at any location from water tankers available at nearest Municipalities or Civil Authorities.
