Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Eastern Railway (ER) has rendered yeoman’s service by distributing food among the thousands of starving people every day since imposition of lockdown in the country in the wake of COVID-19.
The food is being prepared by RPF/RPSF/NGO, Commercial Department & IRCTC and the same is distributed every day by RPF personnel all over the jurisdiction of ER.
Moreover, dinner for 2013 people has also been prepared on date and the same will be distributed among the starving people by RPF personnel at various places. Out of this, food for 263 persons will be prepared by RPF/RPSF/NGO, Commercial Department for 800 persons & the rest food for 950 persons will be contributed by IRCTC.
