BS-VI fuel standards and BS-VI standards will be implemented in the entire country including West Bengal from April 1, 2020. It will have sulphur content of 10 parts per million (PPM), a reduction from 50 ppm content from the BS-IV specification, informed Shri Pritish Bharat, Executive Director, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, West Bengal. here today. Interacting with the media persons, Shri Bharat stated that IndianOil refineries, pipelines, storage terminals and retail outlets across the state have been upgraded and quality measures have been put in place to ensure supply of BS-VI fuel.
