Vinod Sewa, former National sub-junior Champion and Bronze Medalist for Bengal in National Games is representing Calcutta Gymkhana Club for the past few years. With the semi-final tie to be played this weekend, there are speculations that Rupesh Roy may be seen in action for Calcutta Gymkhana Club in the BTA League for the first time. Rupesh was a former ITF Men's Futures 10K Winner at Vivaywada in 2010 and 15K Men's Futures Finalist at Kolkata. Rupesh has represented India for numerous times in the junior category. There is possibility of Rupesh to be seen in action for the semi-final tie, representing Calcutta Gymkhana Club as he has included in the team before the last group league tie. Calcutta Gymkhana will get stronger with Rupesh's inclusion in the team. Dakshin Kalikata Sansad will also have a strong representation of experienced Saurav Panja, who was 7 times National doubles Champion. Calcutta South Club, on the other hand, will go all out to win the third title in a row. Calcutta South Club has won the title for the years 2018 & 2019. Tollygunge Club on the other hand still searching for their maiden title. They had reached the finals on two previous years.
