'Karo Sambhav' School Program

A felicitation ceremony was organized at OFFBEAT CCU, Topsia for the young eco-warriors of the Kolkata under the ‘Karo Sambhav School Program’. Several schools were felicitated for their outstanding performance in electronic waste (e-waste) management under different categories on the successful culmination of five-month-long school program that was launched on 6th September 2019 in partnership with Arts Foward. Under this program, over 3000 students of class V to X across 10 schools collected over 100 kgs of e-waste.  

     
    Karo Sambhav program is aimed at building awareness on the critical issue of e-waste and inspiring students towards leading a sustainable lifestyle, informed  Pranshu Singhal, Founder, Karo Sambhav.
       Karo Sambhav, a Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO), engages with school students and teachers in developing and implementing responsible e-waste management solutions across India. Since July 2017, Karo Sambhav has engaged with over 8,05,200 students and 5,368 teachers across 2,684 schools in alignment with the State Pollution Control Boards. Karo’s producer members include prominent brands like Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Vivo.
