A new office for Congress Party has been set up at 28 No. Ward (Rajabazar) Kolkata on 12th Feb. The office was formally inaugurated by Somendra Nath Mitra (President, WBPCC) in presence of local Ward Congress workers, Janab Shahid Imam (General Secretary - WBPCC), Pranab Kumar Ghosh (Central Kolkata District Congress Committee President), Rohan Mitra (Vice-President Youth Congress) and others.
Janab Mahmood (General Secretary Central Kolkata Sevadal Congress Committee) told opening of this new party office will initiate a better coordination among party workers. A palpable new vigour was noted among Congress workers due to this launch.
On this occasion Somenh Mitra remarked that the present budget of West Bengal government is not at all up to the mark as this budget does not hold good to generate new employment, neither these doles will help common man in any way. Moreover this budget is an election targeted budget. He further added that Congress intends to open more party offices in days to come to initiate better co-ordination among party workers.
