Mass Marriage of 170 Girls on Valentine's Day by 'ALOY FERA'

 'ALOY FERA'- a socio-cultural welfare organization is all set to create a superlative instance of unique harmony on Valentine's Day amidst the nation-wide NRC-CAA controversy. 170 girls, hailing from four different communities - Hindu, Muslim, Christian, and Santal - will enjoy a mass marriage at Tala Park Indira Maidan on 14th February eve. This initiative is under the leadership of Sri Gautam Haldar, Councilor of Ward 3 of Kolkata Municipality and also the  President of 'Aloy Fera'.


During a formal Press Meet at the Kolkata Press Club on Tuesday. officials of 'Aloy Fera' informed that this mass marriage is about to enter the ninth year. Every time this mass wedding takes the form of a great festival, regardless of the political affiliation.


Gautam Haldar, an eminent social activist and the chief motivating force behind this endeavour. said, "Our organization 'ALOY FERA' does not just stop by organizing this mass wedding. The organization is involved with multiple social service activities throughout the year. We are hopeful that this will create a great example in  Bengal in the coming days."
