Rehabilitation Council of India, a Statutory Body of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India organized a two day Course Coordinators Meet-2020 (North Eastern Zone) on 28-29 February, 2020 at Shivananda Hall, The Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, Kolkata in collaboration with Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities (Divyangjan), Regional Centre, Kolkata to strengthen the entire examination process of Certificate & Diploma level courses, to prepare a comprehensive plan of action to promote special education & disability Rehabilitation courses and to review the norms of CRE, CRR etc.
100 participants including Course Coordinators of RCI’s approved Training Institutes, North Eastern Zonal Coordinator, ZCC, RCI (North Eastern Zone) and officials from AYJNISHD, Kolkata and from the State of Arunachal Pradesh , Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand , Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Odisha, Tripura, West Bengal.
