Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) turned out today the First loco no WAG9H 32810 of FY 2020-21. CLW workshop re-opened with limited staff on 11th May, 2020 after a gap of 49 days due to pandemic COVID-19 lockdown. With dedication of staff & officers, it became possible to dispatch first loco of FY 2020-21, within in 3 days of resumption of work.
It is to mention that CLW has produced 431 locomotives in FY 2019-20, surpassing its own World Record of production of 402 locomotives in FY 2018-19.
