'Ayushman Initiative for Child Rights' is consistently working to ensure rights of children who are the main victims of marital discord and custody battles fought amongst parents. The NGO professes that each child should have equal access and love of both parents and supports shared parenting and elimination of parental alienation.
In present situation of lockdown many alienated parents are living in mental anxiety as they do not have any news of their children who do not stay with them due to marital disputes.
"Their care should be given top priority, according to a PIL filed. We appeal to the State Commission of Child Rights, the Police and the Judiciary to cooperate with these parents on humanitarian ground and help them to gather information of the present condition of these children," said Arijit Mitra, Founder Secretary of 'Ayushman Initiative for Child Rights'.
