The pandemic has put an awful lot on the working mom’s plate: childcare, home-schooling and house chores, all while handling a full-time job. Amid this multitasking madness, a breather is seen as a luxury.
Mothers need to make priority time for themselves — be it quiet time for meditation… or even the simple act of mindfully having a cup of tea, undisturbed.
Here are some tips for working moms to make the most of their day in the current circumstances:
- Stick to a schedule for yourself and for your children.
- Set up a work corner in your house, so that family members know when not to disturb you.
- Get support from your partner and divide all chores equally.
- Ensure some me time: meditate, sing, dance, or whatever you need to do to recharge your batteries.
