The first Down New Delhi-Howrah AC Special Train arrives at Howrah Station today. The train arrived at noon with 936 passengers. After the lockdown was announced, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 virus, many people of Kolkata remained stranded at New Delhi. Out of them
many were students studying at Delhi.
The passengers were delighted to return to their home city after a long time. They expressed satisfaction at the hospitality shown to them by the railway authority. All the passengers were wearing mask and maintained safe distance while alighting from the train and walking towards the vehicle outside for reaching home.
After the passengers alighted from the train they were screened by thermal gun and then allowed to proceed for home.
