In view of the tough challenge posed by COVID-19, South Eastern Railway has undertaken massive cleanliness and sanitization drive on regular measures to prevent the pandemic. Daily cleaning, sanitization & disinfection of all offices, stations, depots, colonies, control offices, etc. are being undertaken. Thermal screening of these staff is being carried out daily and they are also counseled to adopt health safety measures. The frontline line warriors i.e. Loco Pilots, Guards, Station Managers, Yard Masters, Controllers, Traffic Inspectors, etc of SER have been working round the clock for maintaining an uninterrupted supply of essential commodities to different parts of the country. Doctors, Nurses, and other health care personnel have also been provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufactured in-house. Employees and stakeholders without face covers are not being allowed to enter railway offices and premises. SER fights against Covid-19
