Though passenger train services remain suspended due to nationwide lockdown but Goods and Parcel Express Trains are continuing to run to
maintain an uninterrupted supply of essential commodities across the country. Apart from Freight and Parcel Express Trains, Shramik Special
Trains have also been introduced for stranded migrant workers and such trains are plying in South Eastern Railway’s jurisdiction.
In view of the above, people/migrant workers are requested NOT TO WALK ON RAILWAY TRACKS. Walking on the railway tracks is extremely
dangerous and strictly prohibited. People walking on the railway track are treated as trespassers and it is an offense.
People/migrant workers are requested to have patience and not to use the railway track under any circumstances. The situation will improve
gradually, if required, they may contact district/local administration.
